Dave Kitts is a project engineer for CBK and Associates in Elk Grove, Illinois. He’s been working on burners in the Midwest for 35 years. If you’re like Dave, the last thing you want is to put equipment on a job only to have to go back and take it off. So whose valves does he rely on? You guessed it. Dave says, “If you want something that’s reliable, then you want Siemens. Their products are well-designed, reliable, zero failures.” What products does Dave recommend? more>>

Siemens Gas Valves: More Safety
and Performance, Less Cost |
|
The main concern of every customer is cost, and that is where Siemens delivers like no other supplier. The modular, multi-functional design of SKP actuators reduces the number of required gas train components. This leads to better control and significant reductions in the diameter and weight of the gas train, which results in a streamlined gas flow control system and overall cost savings. The modular design also means you have fewer components to stock for additional cost savings.

As the expectations for performance and safety of burners and boilers have increased in recent years, innovation in gas valves has lagged behind.
Siemens VG valves and SKP actuators are engineered to deliver safety and performance, while reducing the size and complexity of gas trains. Using Siemens valves means smaller gas trains and better control. That results in a better bottom line for you and your customers.
Safety is critical in combustion equipment. Siemens VG valves and SKP actuators are designed with safety in mind.
Our valves are rigorously tested with zero-leakage tolerance so they meet all ISO safety standards. The innovative SKP actuators feature Proof-of-Closure over travel and integrated pressure regulation. This eliminates the need for separately piped safety shutoff valves and pressure regulators. This means improved performance, simplified design, and a lower cost to produce for burner/boiler manufacturers.
Siemens SKP actuators provide superior control. By maintaining a constant pressure level, even in high turndown applications, they eliminate the regulator droop characteristic of conventional regulators. Better control means better efficiency and longer equipment life. |
