Under the General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply
Schedules Program, the GSA establishes long-term government-wide
contracts with commercial firms to provide products and services
to the federal government. The Federal Supply Schedules Program
is authorized in FAR Subpart 8.4.
“The Federal Supply Schedule program, directed and managed
by the General Services Administration (GSA), provides Federal
agencies with a simplified process for obtaining commonly used
commercial supplies and services at prices associated with volume
buying.”
