The Alarm Issue Management Option for Insight® allows you to manage the life cycle of an alarm issue through all stages, from initiation to resolution.
Alarm Issue Management Application
By configuring a point for Alarm Issue Management, an ordered procedure is imposed for each point in alarm: Acknowledge, Assign (to a contact), Answer, Resolve, and Clear. Each step is logged through the Alarm Issue Management application, which provides you with the full history of that alarm issue.
You also have the ability to generate and schedule Alarm Issue Management reports through the standard Insight software reporting and scheduling applications.

Alarm Issue Management Editor
The Alarm Issue Management Editor allows you to create contacts and associated devices and equipment groups. The contacts and their associated device and equipment groups allow you to assign a specific tradesperson, or group of tradepeople, qualified to investigate a point designated with Alarm Issue Management, as defined in the Point Editor application.
