Siemens Appoints Dixon Head of Global Energy Business

Bob DixonBUFFALO GROVE, Ill (Oct. 27, 2004) - Siemens Building Technologies, Inc. has appointed Bob Dixon its senior vice president and global head of Energy Services and Solutions.

In his new role, Dixon will be responsible for directing the global sales and marketing strategies for the company’s Energy Services and Solutions businesses, including supply and demand-side management, performance contracting, financial services, program implementation, environmental initiatives, and ongoing customer support.

“Bob’s experience and expertise has contributed significantly to the growth of energy services and solutions business in North America, “ said Daryl Dulaney, Chief Operating Officer of Siemens Building Technologies, Inc. “With Bob in the lead, we plan to expand this success globally.”

In the past eight years, Siemens Building Technologies has implemented more than $1.3 billion in demand-side energy reduction projects in the United States and, in the past 4 years alone, has secured more than $3 billion in competitive energy procurements for its customers.

Dixon has nearly 30 years of experience in building systems, facility operations, and energy conservation. His experience includes program development, sales, project, service, and organization management. He is currently the president of the National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO), a national trade association comprised of energy service companies, utilities, equipment manufacturers and suppliers, financial institutions and other organizations.
