Siemens Awarded Highest Accreditation for Energy
Services
BUFFALO GROVE, Ill. (Jan. 21, 2004) – Siemens Building Technologies, Inc.,
was recently accredited by the National Association of Energy Service Companies
(NAESCO) as an Energy Service Provider, the highest level of accreditation
for companies serving the energy market.
NAESCO is a national trade association comprised of energy service companies,
utilities, equipment manufacturers and suppliers, financial institutions and
other organizations. The association provides leadership in the energy services
companies industry by examining economic factors, new policies and legislation,
cutting-edge technologies, as well as the growth and development of the energy
services industry as a whole.
“This highest level of accreditation demonstrates our competency as an energy
service provider to our customers,” said Bob Dixon, sr. director of Energy
Services and Solutions at Siemens Building Technologies.
To receive this accreditation, Siemens had to prove it was capable of complying
with a set of ethics, as well as provide a significant number of project and
customer documentation to verify its competency in project development, energy
engineering, project implementation and financial solutions in areas such as
energy conservation, co-generation and supply-side services. The accreditation
proves the governing board of the energy services industry recognizes Siemens
as a reliable, ethical provider of energy products and services. Siemens joins
a small, elite group of companies with this accreditation.
